Wire Stool is a collection of stools designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Vitra. Base in chromed or powder-coated tubular steel, not stackable. Body in bent and welded steel wire.
Available in two heights, medium and high, this stool adapts to different needs of space and style. Its welded steel wire construction testifies to a sophisticated production technique, which gives the product a timeless durability and beauty.
One of the peculiar characteristics of the Wire stool is its versatility in terms of covering. The stools are available without padding, with a single cushion or with padding for the seat and back, thus offering customizable comfort according to the tastes and needs of users.
Curiously, because of its original shape, the padding is sometimes nicknamed “bikini”, giving the Wire Stool a touch of irony and modernity.
