Vidun Collection – Round table

The iconic Vidun by Vico Magistretti is enriched with new stylistic elements: an ultralight glass top without reflections that highlights the basic characteristic so similar to a large screw, and a serigraphy of the De Padova and Vico Magistretti Original logo, in collaboration with the Vico Magistretti Foundation. A stabilising ring calibrates the balances of an object that passes time and modes.
He inaugurated the De Padova table collection in 1987 and since then Vidun is one of the most well-known, recognized and appreciated projects by Vico Magistretti. A masterpiece of joints, echoing ‘vidun’, in Milanese a large vine, made of natural beech, white or black, colored in fixed combinations: purple with turquoise and green, red with yellow and goose bill or walnut fluted. Sculptural and perfectionist, a glass top allows to see the base: “It is always the conceptual detail that attracts people’s attention”, said Vico Magistretti.
