Ryoba Collection – Table

Ryoba is a table designed by Piero Lissoni for the Porro brand.
The Ryoba table, designed by Piero Lissoni with a drawn brass structure and European cherry top, exemplifies the naturalness of materials and the beauty of imperfection. The triangular section legs with a significant thickness create a trestle on which the material top is placed, 3 solid wood boards slightly different from each other, simply dry assembled with a thin joint. The Franciscan proportions of the table, narrow and long to respect the natural dimensions of the trunks, invite a new intimate conviviality, while the cracks left visible and the knotted tassels underline the poetry of this beautiful traditional forest, which takes on new life and becomes contemporary.
