Kami Kami Collection – Carpet

Create true three-dimensionality in an artifact that by definition is two-dimensional. The inspiration for this line of rugs comes from a reflection on the geometries of origami and the paper used to create them (Kami). A thin sheet that takes shape thanks to folding and becomes a complex object. The same goes for these rugs, which, thanks to the skilled hands of the most skilled craftsmen, acquire depth, volume accentuated by the choice of monochrome. The skill of the master weaver is important, as well as that of the carpenter, who with firm hand, rigour and patience works every single carpet in its surfaces, lines and declinations. Kami Kami rugs are made on request, in custom sizes.
