Artist biography:
Milo Manara was born in 1945 in Luson, in the province of Bolzano. Following his natural inclinations, he graduated from a private art school. He later enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture in Venice.
Manara, like all artists, is not indifferent to changes in the world around him, but draws inspiration and reflections from them.
After numerous international prizes and awards, the Academy of Fine Art in Macerata awarded him the academic title Honoris Causa on 20 February 2009.
The future for Manara is a blank page, and we are sure it will not remain so for long..
