Eames Plywood Mobile A Collection – Decorative object

In the early 1940s, Charles and Ray Eames conducted a series of experiments aimed at perfecting their plywood molding techniques. These investigations led to the creation of two objects whose biomorphic forms strongly resemble Ray’s artwork and graphics. The Eames hung them like mobiles on the ceiling of their Los Angeles apartment. Each Plywood Mobile is made up of two abstract organic plywood elements that playfully rotate around each other.
