Artist’s biography:
Giancarlo Molinari was born in Verona in “43. He has always been interested in the figurative arts, attending the art school “Napoleon Nani” of Verona, under the guidance of master painters Farina and Pigato as well as, during the 1960s, numerous courses in graphics and design. In those days, although painting mainly female figures and landscapes, it animates them with a quick and vigorous gesture.
Eager to combine art with practice, he first dedicated himself to the activity of window decorator and advertising graphic; continuing, however, to paint and approaching, in a second time, also photographic art.
Dal”97 lives and paints in Lanzarote, source of continuous new inspirations, where in recent years he has exhibited his painting and photography.
His paintings are exhibited in private collections and public bodies: as well as in Italy and Spain, also in several other countries of Europe.
He returned to Italy in 2008, where he currently works at his studio in Verona.
