Icon of Italian and world design, Arco was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962 and has become one of the most imitated pieces in the history of design. Its base is made up of a block in carrara marble, which acts as a counterweight and an attachment element for the movement of the lamp, thanks to the practical central hole that allows to move the lamp using a simple broom handle. The upper structure of the lamp is a steel gyroscopic profile supporting the adjustable reflector. The reflector has holes at the top that allow the light source to disperse heat.
