From 17 to 22 April, the 57th edition of the Milan Salone del Mobile will take place at Fiera Milano Rho, an unmissable appointment for the design world.
More than 2,000 exhibitors will present projects of extraordinary value, combining design, technology, flexibility and sustainability in products and solutions for contemporary living that consciously looks to the future. An offer that combines quality and creativity, the result of study, commitment and investment in research by the best companies in the sector.
Once again this year, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is staged together with the Salone Internazionale del Complemento d’Arredo, subdivided into the Classico style types: Tradition in the Future, Design and xLux.
Alongside the two annual events, the biennial EuroCucina with its side event FTK (TechnologyFor the Kitchen) and the Salone Internazionale del Bagno are returning, gathering together an increasing number of companies in the two sectors that recognise its marked business and networking value.
21st edition for the SaloneSatellite, dedicated to the under-35s, which has chosen a theme of great power and fascination: “Africa/Latin America: Rising Design – Emerging Design”.
9th edition for the SaloneSatellite Award competition, dedicated to bringing together supply and demand, entrepreneurs and designers, creativity and production.
The 57th edition of the event will also arrive in the city: the Salone del Mobile will move outside the Fiera to conquer the heart of Milan with a major event to remind us that the business dimension is not exclusive. Quite the contrary. There is a great desire not to forget the value of emotions, dreams, everyday life, and the beauty of the world around us.
FUORISALONE
2018 is also shaping up to be a memorable year for design enthusiasts and the merely curious who love to admire futuristic shapes, elegant objects, experiments and – let’s face it – eccentric abstruseness:, the great open-air party of the Fuorisalone will take place from Tuesday 17 to Sunday 22 April.
A total of 11 main areas will host companies, designers and planners intent on presenting their creations: the Tortona Design Week, the new Rainbow District, Zona Santambrogio, the Lambrate District, the Ventura Future and Centrale, Porta Venezia in Design, the Bovisa Design District, MonteNapoleone Design Experience, 5vie Art + Design, Brera Design District and Isola Design District.
