Special attention was paid to the sophisticated atmosphere to be created.
The continuation was the project, born from close dialogue between the client and Zenucchi Design Code. A project based primarily on the desire to create a link between the indoors and the outdoors and between the various indoor living spaces. Special attention was paid to the elegant atmosphere to be created by privileging materials and colours in shades of white and grey. Hence the decision to use slate slabs on the ground floor; and then white-washed grey oak parquet on the main floors. There was just one hint of transparency, the floor of the fitness area was made entirely of glass slabs laid on satin-finished steel frames. An environment built to accommodate the highest selection of classically designed furniture and furnishing accessories. The open and airy volumes of the living room have been furnished with a white leather sofa by Frau, juxtaposed with the adjacent dining room with Eero Saarinen’s timeless table and leather chairs by Mies Van Der Rohe. On the back wall, the two storage cabinets by Minotti, made of glossy lacquer to emphasise the elegance of the space that houses them, stand out with the elegance of two contemporary paintings.
The same care and attention taken in furnishing the indoor spaces has been given to the outdoor ones.
A series of reflections in shades of white and grey that converge and are replicated in the space devoted to gourmet treats: the kitchen. In this large room, open to the others, there is the magnificent Boffi kitchen island. Made entirely of brushed steel, it is juxtaposed with the Corian columns that decorate the side walls. In the same white “matt and soft” material there is the table by Porro surrounded by wisteria-coloured leather “Lola” chairs by Poltrona Frau. The ethereal, airy chandelier by Louis Poulsen and the silicone vases from Gaetano Pesce’s Fish Design line complete the airy atmosphere. Nothing in these places breaks the spell and the harmony achieved. Not even the hint of the wisteria colour found in some details of Redaelli’s furniture and in the linen. On the contrary, the covert note of colour enhances the sense of extreme elegance and sophistication that one breathes in this beautiful home. A house that has been designed down to the last detail, following the customer’s requests, step by step. The master bedroom, for example, encompasses multiple needs of daily living: in addition to the bathroom, there is a space for relaxation furnished with a comfortable sofa and a modern Focus fireplace. Adjacent to these spaces is the immense and super-accessorised walk-in wardrobe. Custom designed to hold the owners’ clothes and accessories, to “fit” their clothing. The same care and attention taken in furnishing the indoor spaces has been devoted also to the outdoor spaces, considered as a continuation of the most intimate part of the home. Here, too, the choice of furniture is targeted: aluminium parasol and white cover juxtaposed with Dedon outdoor furniture. A sophisticated choice for an undeniably elegant space.
