Two separate and independent structures that revisit the traditional pitched roofs and stone and wood façades in a contemporary key. The project was designed by the Zenucchi Design Code team: the key points of the project are the claddings, which embellish and give character to the interior. The parquet covers both floor and ceiling, creating an upside-down effect that warms the flat; the walls in shades of green recall the adjacent woods; the stove covered with Domenico Mori tiles made entirely by hand creates a corner where design and tradition meet; in the bathrooms, decorated Mutina tiles cover the walls, emphasising the white of the elements inside. In the kitchen, the tones are neutral but a few details catch the eye: the equipped backsplashes increase storage by making the most of the available space; Luserna stone lines the back wall behind the sink while a slab of this local stone, resting on the parapet overlooking the lower floor, creates a convivial snack area. The custom-made wooden staircase is light and optimises the space, giving access to the sleeping area where the greenery becomes darker. A large master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, and a double room with a bunk bed made entirely to measure.
