A villa born from a sixhanded collaboration that has been able to realize the dreams of its inhabitants.

In the heart of Val Camonica is a villa with clean lines and essential geometries, where every element perfectly interacts with the surrounding context. A house ready to welcome a family of 4 people, with all their needs and the need to have large and bright spaces to welcome relatives and live together moments of happiness. The project is the result of the collaboration of three professionals in their field: the engineer Gheza Luca who conceived the design of the building; the architect Brizzi Antonio who took care of the outdoor design and the completion of the interior with his knowledgeable experience; Zenucchi Design Code who took care of the interior design project in detail. The natural setting in which the villa is located has inspired the use of mainly natural and local materials, such as the Ceppo di Grè, the local stone, and its mother stone, the Nuvolato di Grè, with its ancient origins. These are the main materials that invade the house in its exterior and interior spaces: the Grè Stump covers the exterior floor and, as if it were a living material, invades the interior spaces, filling every corner of the floor. This continuity of material creates a home without boundaries: interior and exterior become a single volume, expanding and multiplying the spaces that the family can enjoy together with friends and relatives.

A sculptural iron staircase vertically joins the spaces and makes this villa unique.

At the entrance, the large volume sees as protagonist the staircase leading to the first floor: a real sculpture. Entirely made of raw iron sheet, another main material of this project, starts from the ground floor to develop with clean geometries and captivating lines to vertically connect the spaces. The design of the ladder is a key point of this realization. The engineering was crucial because it had to be completely floating: the idea was to fix the staircase only to the floor and the attic of the first floor. Thanks to the experience and collaboration of all the designers, this idea became a reality. The staircase leads to the sleeping area: here are the daughters’ bedrooms and the master’s area: a real suite that in its size accommodates the wardrobes area, the bathroom area and the rest area. The search for natural and unique materials also continues on the first floor: the wood that covers the entire floor; the stone and resin, which characterize the walls; the ceramics of Mutina by Domenico Mori, baked entirely by hand creating collections with extraordinary colours. The final touch of perfection is given by the light. The architectural design is taken care of in every detail and creates a suggestive scenery, perfectly mixing diffused light and punctual light. Scenography that acts as the stage for the real protagonists of the lighting project: the hanging lamp by Davide Groppi at the entrance, a real moon that can be admired from every angle; the hanging lamps by Henge in the living area, brass rings of different diameters that intersect each other creating a geometric decoration that illuminates and characterizes the living area. A villa rich in delicate but surprising punctuation, to amaze every day and leave breathless with its uniqueness.
