A home that speaks for itself.

“We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring. Will be to arrive where we started. And know the place for the first time”, as T.S. Eliot wrote about travel. And this is what happens to the couple who own this beautiful home. Whether for business or leisure, the owners are often away from home and are always happy to return to their dream home.

Laura Beretta and Alberto Bertasa are the architects behind the architectural and interior design, while Zenucchi Design Code supplied the furnishings. The team of architects and interior designers collaborated closely with the owners, who have a great eye for detail and had high standards in the choice of products and furnishings. The result is a beautiful home of great impact. A home that speaks for itself. Immersed in a breathtaking landscape, this home features a swimming pool, teak wood outdoor flooring, and designer furniture. The architecture develops horizontally exploiting the entire plot of the property. Every detail of the furnishings, lighting fixtures, rugs, curtains, and outdoor solutions reflect the elegant character of this villa.

Volumes, heights, and large openings certainly add to its beauty.

Volumes, heights, and large openings certainly add to its beauty. Natural light streams in from the large windows, making life indoors even more special. The suspended ceiling in the living area makes the setting even cosier. Select designer pieces and bespoke solutions accentuate the home’s charm and atmosphere.

And when you want to enjoy some fresh air, you just have to step out into the beautiful garden. Here, in the outdoor living space with soft wood flooring, you can relax, swim, enjoy the sun on soft sunbeds, and organise cocktail parties with your friends. The wooden staircase adds warmth and harmony to the setting. Beretta and Bertasa are the architects behind this project. Nothing is left to chance. Every corner of this villa will surprise you. In this particular part of the house, the suspended ceiling, spotlights, and every other element cater to the owners’ needs. The large square dining table is made of open-pore oak and painted in grey. And now, let’s look at the living room from another point of view. The rugs (Minotti) and curtains have all been supplied by Zenucchi Design Code. Ideal for dinners with guests (interior design by Zenucchi Design Code). A cosy space from where you can enjoy the wonderful outdoors. The beautiful panoramic window overlooks the swimming pool, which is surrounded by grey basalt flooring. Basalt is a lava stone with excellent physical and mechanical properties (Marmi Paganessi Emilio s.r.l., Vertova – Bergamo). The wood kitchen reflects the flooring. The view of the hills makes it the perfect place where to express your culinary creativity (interior design by Zenucchi Design Code). The elegant Navona travertine bathroom features delicate, relaxing colours. The same material is used for the washbasin top and the monolith housing the bathtub. The bespoke walk-in wardrobe allows you to keep everything in place (interior design by Zenucchi Design Code). The sophisticated hazelnut Navona travertine adds brightness (Marmi Paganessi Emilio s.r.l.). Total white was the choice for the master bedroom. The bespoke leather-coated wardrobe is by Zenucchi Design Code.
