The caramel colour warms up the space, becoming the leitmotif that brings together all the rooms.
Zenucchi Arredamento dealt with the image, making changes to the entire architectural structure and carefully designing the decor. Two spaces were created: a loft in the basement and a flat on the first and second floor. The living area, dedicated to welcoming guests and conversation, on the second floor is extraordinarily bright and elegant. The caramel colour of the oak parquet absorbs the reflections and warms up the space, becoming the leitmotif that harmonises all the rooms. The presence of the colour and sophisticated materials is striking. Fine wood and leather upholstery compete for the spotlight. Exquisite walnut furniture stands out against the light background of the walls; in some rooms there are also Vitra armchairs with black leather cushions. Other perspective views bring out the measured notes of colour, dedicated to design pieces.
Every corner of the house is skilfully designed with attention to the smallest details.
In the living room on the first floor, there are the red Barcelona armchairs by Mies Van der Rhoe, designed in 1929, and considered a classic of the 1930s. The red of the furniture and the Hermès porcelain complete the space with a colourful presence that defines the spaces. In the kitchen, on the other hand, colour is banned from the décor. Exquisite walnut furniture stands out against the light background of the walls; in some rooms there are also Vitra armchairs with black leather cushions. An elegant workshop of gastronomic ideas in which the colours of the dishes ruffle the order. There are sophistication and elegant details everywhere, emphasised here and there by the juxtaposition of lighting fixtures. The solid limestone staircase, whose treads slightly overlap each other, denotes the care taken in the design of this home. There are sophistication and elegant details everywhere, emphasised here and there by the juxtaposition of lighting fixtures. In the living room, calibrated plays of light soften the atmosphere while, on the second floor, they heighten the brightness, giving a pleasant chromatic harmony, ideal for the intimate rooms of the house. The rooms are decorated in light colours. The beds by Frau and the glossy lacquered wardrobes by Porro, all in white, give the sleeping area a decidedly relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor space also maintains the design elegance of the indoor environment. Coro’s furniture, with its elegant armchairs and “reflective” table, embraces the house with its brightness. So many places to experience, so many emotions. Only the desire to be lulled by the harmony of one of them.
