Inspiration from Northern European design
Nestled among the Vicenza vineyards, this new semi-detached house draws inspiration from Northern European design. “Our clients entrusted us with every aspect of this project: coverings, materials, lighting, furnishings, and finishes”, explained the Zenucchi team. “They wanted a fresh, timeless, light-flooded house”. Contemporary materials, such as cementitious resin, combined with wood – the oak floorboards with different widths in the living area – draw you immediately into a Scandinavian atmosphere. The large open-space living area includes a beautiful white kitchen with a tailor-made suspended ceiling where all the spotlights are fitted. In front of the kitchen island are the white Carrara marble dining table by Molteni&C with Carl Hansen natural ash wood chairs, and a Gallotti&Radice pendant lamp. Bronze reflective glass doors are the distinctive features of the floor-ceiling mounted bookcase (Molteni&C).
The living area is bright and cosy
The living area is bright and cosy and features a Charles (B&B Italia) leather sofa and ottoman, Cassina armchairs, and coffee tables. Elements such as the storage unit (Porro), Flos floor lamp, and floor-mounted TV cabinet, enhance the comfort of the setting. Moving on, you reach the Ceppo di Gré stone staircase lighted by a wonderful moon-shaped pendant lamp by Davide Groppi. On the first floor, the parquet flooring leads to the master bedroom with a leather bed (Poltrona Frau). The wall behind the bed features tailor-made cementitious resin coverings, which continues to the bathroom, creating a consistent atmosphere. The two full-height sliding doors that separate the bedroom from the bathroom and walk-in wardrobe is another interesting solution.
