What makes an abode so special? Its personality. And when the nature of the house coincides with its owners’ one… the deed is done. “Inside your own house, it is essential to feel at home; our job is to lead customers in the creation of an environment that truly represents them by means of innovative solutions; that means achieving an interior design project which is the result of our knowledge in the industry and about furniture, materials, trends and the world of interior design”. Against this backdrop, Zenucchi Arredamento’s team – in partnership with architect Roberto Iannetti from Atelier Air studio who managed the exterior design – fulfilled the villa displayed in these pages. This abode welcomes us in all its versatility: it covers two floors; the living area is a large open space to fully enjoy well-being and beauty.
Design elements and suggestions between art and matter.
On the first floor, the sleeping area goes on with the master bedroom, bathrooms and children’s rooms. What is interesting in the structure of the house is the continuity between the two floors: as a matter of fact, part of the sitting room is full-height since the hallway of the first floor overlooks the living area. The Piasentina stone cladding of the living room is highly evocative; it comes back in the kitchen countertop and in the staircase leading to the sleeping area. The welcoming sitting room doesn’t shrink from design elements and suggestions between art and matter: the leather corner sofa matches small calf-hair armchairs, tables and contemporary carpets. The wood fireplace is quite particular too, built in a plasterboard structure. Proceeding on the staircase towards the sleeping area, we find once again the modern nature of the house with some elements that reflect the owners’ life. The flooring becomes warm and natural solid wood flooring, a perfect material for more intimate spaces. The master bedroom includes two spaces: the sleeping one whose main character is the double bedroom with large glass windows and the functional one, dedicated to the wardrobe area.
