Raw iron, natural wood and soft fabrics are the stars of the project.

The inspiration is somewhere between a luxury hotel in the Dolomites and a metropolitan luxury chalet. The owners, are a contemporary couple who love beauty, sharing and enjoying life. The penthouse designed by Zenucchi Design Code was born with these ingredients. “We accompanied them in their choices right from the start. Like in a house designed to forget about everything and give itself over entirely to artistic emotion. We came in making substantial changes such as the open space with kitchen island and the bathroom open to the bedroom.” A large, spacious sofa with soft cushions was chosen to accommodate the owners’ lifestyle. The house is a warm refuge but also a place for sharing and having fun with friends. A large, spacious sofa with soft cushions was chosen to accommodate the owners’ lifestyle. The living space is completed with a customised design for the TV wall – made entirely of iron, designed by Zenucchi. Porro eucalyptus wood elements such as containers form the backdrop for the majestic and unique Focus wood fireplace.

The master bedroom, a real suite.

Special attention has been paid to the study of lighting with the aim of creating a versatile and welcoming environment, tailored to the space: from wall lights to floor lamps, table lamps and suspension lamps, all icons of Italian design. The dining area consists of a table in textured wood, with iron in the structure, made by a craftsman, accompanied by chairs in soft Molteni fabric and Aim pendant lights by Flos. The kitchen – Snaidero – all in pewter-coloured melamine to recall iron, has a single block island with a Bora induction hob, a snack counter in textured raw wood and stools handcrafted by the owner’s father to a design by Zenucchi. In the sleeping area we find the master bedroom, a real suite, with a big-size bed, custom-made wardrobes, and the Agape Vieques bathtub designed by Patricia Urquiola. The unique emotions and atmospheres of the interior can also be found in the exterior: a splendid terrace is beautifully furnished with a Roda sofa and Chaise Longue, a rug and a Kettal rope footstool. A large, extendable teak and steel table is perfect for living life in company, comfort and beauty.
