Every family has its passions
Every family has its passions, and when a home reflects all of them, it means that the project behind it was a success. To achieve the home of their dreams, the owners of this villa relied on the experts, namely, architect Massimo Ghislandi, real estate agent Francesco Finazzi, and the Zenucchi Design Code team. Mr Ghislandi designed the villa and supervised the construction works for B.R. Gestione Cantieri Srl; Mr Finazzi served as a consultant for construction, design, layout, and cost management; the Zenucchi Design Code team supported the professionals, giving shape to their projects, from space distribution to the choice of materials, systems, light fixtures, and furnishings.
Each space has its personality
The villa develops on two floors with a basement designed for the family’s social life. The ground floor houses a contemporary living area with design furnishings and accessories that make the setting cosy and comfortable. The Focus fireplace and the red leather Vanity Fair armchair connect the dining area with the sitting area. Full-height glass sliding doors separate the living area from the kitchen (Dada), which features Tom Dixon lamps and a countertop customised by Zenucchi. Glass returns in the staircase that leads to the first floor, which houses the bedrooms. Before you get to the bedrooms, you encounter a tailor-made bookcase for the family’s books. The bathrooms are all bespoke and feature original ideas, such as the waterfall shower mixer tap in the guest bathroom. But the highlight of this house is the basement. Here, guided by Mr Ghislandi and Mr Finazzi, Zenucchi designers have created a small handmade brick wine cellar, a bathroom with a wellness area with natural oak coverings, and a pool table area, separated by an original TV stand that hangs from the ceiling and sheet metal bookcases. Each space has its personality.
