The characteristic imprinting of the owners, stone merchants, is revealed by their love for fine materials. Details and excellent marble and parquet finishes immediately define the rooms. Rooms that Zenucchi has interpreted by proposing quality furnishings that match the prestige of this luxurious home. In the living room, around which all the rooms of the house are located and that overlooks the English garden, the design proposal favoured white leather sofas by Frau. Next to them, also by Frau, arranged one next to the other, a pair of fine calf hair armchairs complete the seating arrangements. The elegance of the materials is also clear in the coffee tables specially made in brown leather, the same colour as the armchairs. All the furniture is white to better bring out the precious Dussiè d’Africa wood flooring that warms the rooms. Its amber hue recalls the only coloured decoration on the wall: three beautiful illuminated red glass alcoves, set into the brick walls.
A villa imbued with intimate elegance.
The elegant Boffi kitchen, embellished with a light marble top, can be seen from the living room. This is completed by a square crystal table by Porro accompanied by elegant Frau chairs upholstered in soft black leather. The same leather as the Frau chaise longue on the mezzanine. This space is also visible from the living area because the ultra-clear glass panel does not obstruct the view of the two rooms. Attention to detail also in the construction of the staircase with marble risers and wooden treads; while a quarter-circle design was designed for the stainless-steel handrail. Another raised area, used as a study, is, instead, furnished with a modern steel bookcase by Rimadesio, “warmed up” with the “classic” wooden writing desk by Ceccotti. Sinuous and elegant, crafted by expert master woodworkers, it lends the room class and elegance. Absolute chromatic rigour, on the other hand, for the master bedroom. Here, the round Frau bed, upholstered in white leather, dominates the strictly white surroundings. The décor is embellished with Poliform wardrobe doors in glossy lacquered wood. Zenucchi furnishings of the same quality complete the majestic bathrooms. Antiqued and brushed washbasins made of solid marble blocks are cleverly juxtaposed with Flaminia sanitary ware and elegant steel faucets. A successful combination of class and quality gives this villa an innate elegance.
