Container and Content

The sun is rising, and a soft light seeps in through the long curtains, quietly spreading into the room. Majestic trees take part in the event, swaying their tops as if rocking themselves before waking. A cool breeze whispers through the mountain peaks and hillsides, while the lake water slides and shimmers. On the shores of Lake Garda stands this monumental villa, overlooking a flourishing and breathtaking landscape. The architectural project is curated by Cabras Architetti Associati, which created a sculptural work paying attention to the harmonious dialogue between the territory, human beings, and nature. Container and content: one projects into the other, recreating volumes, spaces, rhythms, and relationships. Zenucchi Design Code composed and supported this project by offering refined and high-level furniture. It’s a teamwork that makes the difference.
The owners, a retired Dutch couple, live in the house for eight months a year together with their children, who have two secondary apartments reserved for them.

The structure found some solutions that fluidly connect both the indoors and the outdoors without abrupt interruptions, in a continuous movement between vertical and horizontal. Upon entering, the living area opens up as an open space, revealing its generous size. The furnishings stand out for their Made- In-Italy design, with an elegant and modern taste. A sophisticated choice that unites several natural materials used for the coverings, lending dynamism in colour and texture to the environment. The continuous access to the landscape is very interesting: large windows open towards the garden, displaying the water mirrors of the pool and the lake. Significant importance is given to light, which illuminates the house, bringing out every compositional detail. The soft fabric of the sofa, the leather-upholstered armchairs, the fur chaise longue, the large dining table, and the minimalist kitchen reflect the charm of craftsmanship quality. In the sleeping area, everything is suspended and a gentle glow envelops the atmosphere with poetic beauty. A daydream brought to life by Cabras Architetti Associati and Zenucchi Design Code, which together created a unique and sensational project, where nature is the inspiring muse and irrefutable star.
