The large living room leads to the space dedicated to the kitchen.

Barely awake, after tidying up the Camargue bedroom by Halley, decorated in butter-yellow tones, the slender girl with long blonde hair searches through the drawers of her classic desk for some silver chord stars. She rummages through all the containers, even those with the rose-shaped handles on the bedside table, and finds the glass beads. She then goes through to her brother, Tumidei’s, blue room, searches on Porro’s Web-model desk, but the elves haven’t left anything for the decorations. By now it’s eight o’clock and she can wake up her parents. She goes to their master bedroom furnished with Poltrona Frau’s “Sera” bed, but they’re not there. On the Poliform bedside tables there only the books they were reading. She looks in the bathroom, but even there only the lit candles remain. Boffi’s furniture reflects in the mirror that illuminates the whole room with their reflection. Stefania immediately rushes to the living area of the house, hurrying through the hallway, dotted with recessed ceiling lights. She opens Rimadesio’s full-height door in grey glass, walks through the large living room and into the kitchen area. Mum is waiting for her there. She has just finished preparing a tasty cake on the white counter of Varenna’s magnificent glossy lacquered ‘Alea’ kitchen. She serves it on a glass cake stand and prepares breakfast for her. Stefania sits on Cattelan’s “Toto” stool, sips her warm milk and begins to fantasise about the decorations. She plays with the glass beads and caresses the surface of the huge island.

By now, evening is knocking at the door...

Stefania is happy, and her gaze sweeps over every corner of the hall to find the right place for the decorations. Cappellini’s long piece of furniture, from the “Sistemi” series, that runs under the large TV screen, or Knoll’s oval table, designed by Saarinen with a Carrara marble top and cast aluminium pedestal, could be useful. Above the Tulip, around Driade’s lit candelabra, she tries arranging the glass and silver spheres. She is having fun, she sits down in the Verner Panton armchairs produced by Vitra and admires her work. But the enthusiasm is such that Stefania is exhausted and takes a short break on the comfortable leather sofa by Poltrona Frau. The huge TV screen on the Credaro stone wall, with a stand designed by Zenucchi, keeps her company with some cartoons. But the truce is short-lived. And, in the blink of an eye, she gets up, jumps around and decides to decorate the Christmas tree. She hangs the glass and silver beads, paper stars and little angels on the tree, accompanied by the warmth of the bioethanol fireplace. She stretches towards the top of the fir tree, climbs onto Minotti’s white table, decorates the branches and completes the splendid Christmas scene. By now, evening has arrived, and the lights of the Christmas trees decorating the gardens can be seen outside through Mycore’s roller blinds that screen the large windows. Stefania sits down on Poltrona Frau’s Dezza calf hair armchair, rests her feet on the fireplace and begins reading. Naturally, under her magical Christmas tree, pampered by an atmosphere designed by Zenucchi Design Code.
