A new glamour

Geometries and colours, light and matter turn the environment into an evoking space that livens up new lifestyle, daily rituals and the way to welcome and share domestic life. The living area — originally highly limited and self-contained — has become a wide fluid space where the sense of volume is plastic, light and completely free, committed to relaxation and conviviality, thanks to a kitchen with dining area which elegantly overlooks the sitting room. Every room has been designed in close contact with the urban landscape. This latter enters the housing space by favouring views that disclose — in bright sunlight — the majestic architectural glimpses referring to the city, with the New Cathedral acting as a kind of perfect backdrop of this environment. The same design sensitivity led highly-tactile and chromatic decisions, enhanced by the special brightness of spaces.

The natural shade of lime finishing for the walls — repeated on the ancient wooden ceiling too — creates a soft background that matches the contemporary durmast floor. A design dimension aimed at an original idea of beauty. What attracts is the feeling that comes from sought-after materials, out of character shapes, handworks which result in the wall covering of the scenery flat that separates the living area from the sleeping one. A hidden door leads you to private and intimate spaces: that is to say two double bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a glazed walk-in closet at the headboard which — thanks to its transparency — breaks down the preset borders without affecting the perception of lightness and continuity. Selected and iconic design features, pieces of furniture and lighting elements complete the creation and contribute to the taste and the attention to detail of this new makeover.
